Alternative-Fuel Vehicle Reporting
Executive Order 13031 requires Federal departments and agencies to report
to OMB on the acquisition of alternative-fuel vehicles for use in the Federal
fleet. On January 30, 1997, OMB issued guidance for those reports as a
Memorandum for the Heads of Executive Departments and Agencies. The
following documents will help agencies prepare their reports.
The January 30, 1997 guidance memorandum
This includes the full text of E.O. 13031 and Title III of the Energy
Policy Act of 1992, as well as specific reporting guidance and a reporting
form
A list of Metropolitan Statistical
Areas (MSAs) with populations of 250,000 or more, based on 1995
Census Bureau data. These are
the areas where Federal fleets are subject to AFV purchase requirements.
The reporting form by itself is also available in several formats, which
(except for the Web-page version) will facilitate returning it to OMB in
electronic form. The spreadsheet files (Lotus and Excel) can be
downloaded to your PC by clicking on the desired file. If you experience
problems with this process, you can print the single Web page.
