April 1969 - March 1973: Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Communities, Brussels
March 1973 - June 1975: Consul in Durban
July 1975 - January 1977: Deputy Head of Cabinet - European Commission, Brussels
February 1977 - August 1981: Directorate - General for Economic Affairs, Rome.
August 1981 - September 1984: Italian Embassy in Mogadiscio.
September 1984 - May 1988: Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Communities, Brussels.
