the President and National Coordinator for Infrastructure Protection and Counter-terrorism


The Office advises and assists the President and the National Security Advisor in addressing threats to U.S. security such as terrorism, cyber warfare and computer security, covert employment of weapons of mass destruction, narcotics trafficking, and international organized crime. The Office is directed by the Special Assistant to the President and the National Coordinator for Infrastructure Protection and Counter-terrorism.
